Tuesday 10th
Got home today from our time in Woodgate, and sure enough, I clicked my heels together three times and said, “There’s no place like home” (well, I didn’t, but I totally should have, because I agree with it!).
Wed 11th
Made a lovely dinner tonight, which was dead easy - barramundi fillets, baked, with cherry tomatoes, potato slices, and dill. Super tasty, lovely and fresh…new favourite!!!
Thurs 12th
Thankful for a day at home today. I’m (unfortunately) almost finished my holidays, so I watched The Reader, the film of my favourite book, for the first time (even though I’ve owned it since it came out on DVD). I also watched the 1st episode of this season’s Offspring, one of my favourite tv shows, and spent quite a while reading. Ahhhh, bliss!
Friday 13th
Today I was glad I didn’t come across the neighbour’s black cat (being Fri 13 and all). I was proud that I got my first filling today without wetting my pants! I was so scared about the needle (bad experience as a child), but numbing gel is a wonder, and I didn’t feel a thing! :D
